The list of participants has not been revealed, but the official statement promises that the tournament will feature “several current drivers”. Participants will even face qualifying training, where the starting grid will be defined as in real life: based on the fastest lap. Virtual races will be 50% of the actual distance, with an expected duration of 1h30. Making the dispute more intense, the Codemasters simulator will be configured to level the dispute. This way, everyone will have cars with fixed settings, reduced damage, anti-lock brakes and optional traction control for those less familiar with the game. In addition to canceling the F1 Australian GP, the FIA has postponed the stages of Bahrain, Vietnam, China, the Netherlands and Spain. The Monaco GP, one of the most traditional races in Formula 1 and world motorsport, has also been canceled. The Bahrain Grand Prix has been on the calendar since 2004, and is held at the Sakhir race track. Last year, the race had a Mercedes double with Lewis Hamilton in first and Finnish Valteri Bottas in second. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc came in third, taking the first podium of his career.
