The new car of Bugatti, Chiron Pur Sport, which was planned to be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show this year but was curious after the fair was canceled due to the Corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic, was introduced with a video. Bugatti’s 8.0-liter four-turbocharged W16 engine is available in the new car with 1,478 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. With the Chiron Pur Sport, the speed of the vehicle was increased by 200 units to 6,900 rpm. In addition, a 15% transition improvement was made in the transmission gaps. Bugatti’s exterior designer Frank Heyl revised the entrance on Pur Sport’s front larger and more aggressively. At the back, while a larger wing is mounted on the main unit, there is a large diffuser in a similar interior at the bottom. While these elements create an ‘X’ shape on the back, it is thought to be a send to the Star Wars X-Wing. The titanium brake plates as well as the magnesium wheels are included in the vehicle, along with the carbon fiber cylinder coating to save weight. Bugatti even used a 3D printer for titanium. Thanks to this, Pur Sport became 19 kilograms lighter than a standard Chiron. The new vehicle has 65% stiffer springs at the front and 33% stiffer springs at the rear. Working with Michelin for improved handling, Bugatti produced special tires for this project. The price of Chiron Pur Sport, which is produced only 16, is said to be 3.5 million dollars. Deliveries will begin in the second half of 2020.
