Like all Netflix productions, the filming of season 4 of Stranger Things stopped as soon as the Covid-19 epidemic spread around the world. If there was a good chance that the release date of the next episodes will be postponed, David Harbor confirms it. The crews were just starting shooting, and considering the special effects of Stranger Things , post-production takes several months of work. Sheriff Hopper’s interpreter spoke on this subject during a question and answer session on Instagram. David Harbor inadvertently appears to have released the initial release date for the fourth season of the Netflix show. “Who knows when it will come out? We’re stuck now. Season 4 was supposed to be out early next year (2021), I think, even if I’m not the decision maker on this, ” he explains. before adding: “And now I don’t know where we are. It will probably be postponed. I hope we can go back to work but I don’t know what it looks like now” . How much could the delay in filming affect the exit? If shooting resumes in June at the latest, we can imagine that the shooting would be completed at the end of September. Counting the 8 months (approximately) necessary for post-production, the release would be postponed until the end of April or the beginning of May 2021. These are just speculations but we hope that everything will be back to normal as soon as possible.
