The Ghibli Studio has become one of the biggest creators of animated films, with characters as endearing as ‘Totoro’, ‘Howl’ and ‘Ponyo’, the Japanese company decided to expand its universe and bring it to real life.

Kajima Corporation assured that Ghibli Park will open its doors to the public in 2022, some drawings, prototypes, designs and maps of the attractions were released on the park’s official website. The idea of the animation company is to build different scenarios for Studio Ghibli fans and in future years to have a large amusement park ready that in 2023 will receive all visitors from Japan and abroad.
