The weather will only be lower because Scooter Braun will not be present at the ceremony. He will accompany Ariana Grande at a “Sweetener World Tour” concert in Tampa, Florida, the same day. The feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun became public when he bought Big Machine Records, the label with which she released her first six albums. Taylor at the time said she was very frustrated to see the rights to her work (which she was denied purchase) in the hands of someone she considers an enemy. She claims that he bullied her, including devising the video for “Famous” with Kanye West. Most recently, the singer issued another open letter against Scooter and Big Machine. She told fans that the label was keeping her from singing her old songs in televised shows – like the American Music Awards. The subject gained a lot of media space, became a huge mess, and in the end she got the green light to sing whatever she wanted.
