Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially introduced the Redmi Note 9S in Singapore. Judging by its specifications and design, the new smartphone has many similarities with the Redmi Note 9 Pro, launched in India. Redmi Note 9S has a bright and premium look with Interstellar Black, Aurora Blue and Glacier White color options. The front of the device has a 3D curved screen. There is also a selfie camera built into the hole on the screen and a quad camera setup at the back. On the back of the device there is a 48 MP f / 1.79 Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor, 8 MP 119 degree ultra wide angle sensor, 5 MP f / 2.4 macro sensor and 2 MP f / 2.4 depth sensor. At the front is a cinematic 6.67-inch Tiny DoyDisplay display with TÜV Rheinland-certified FHD + resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. There is also a 16 MP selfie camera in the screen hole. Xiaomi explained that the front, back and cameras of the phone are protected with Gorilla Glass 5 and stated that the device is splash-proof. He also said that the speaker of the Redmi Note 9S was specially developed and that there was an 80% increase in bass response and a 30% increase in volume compared to previous generation speakers. Coming to the hardware specs, the Redmi Note 9S features an eight-core Snapdragon 720G processor and 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM. The phone, which will be offered with 64 GB or 128 GB storage options, has USB-C 18W fast charging support and 5020mAh battery. Xiaomi announced that the 64 GB version of the phone will be available for $ 180 and the 128 GB version for $ 200.
